Nazar and Other Stories

The word “nazar” comes from the Turkish language: it means “talisman” which protects a man from evil, from human envy and maybe from himself. The title story recounts the tale of a group of emigrants and their convoluted destinies. It contains a universal message about the human search for happiness and a better life.
